Perdue, Helen Hodges, age 87, a resident of Southern Manor/Wilson Manor in Lebanon, TN, died December 5, 2019. Mrs. Perdue was a member of Stanleytown Amazing Grace Baptist Church and attended Bakers Grove Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, TN. She was employed by Bassett-Walker Knitting/VF for over 20 years and at Ridgeway Elementary School in the cafeteria for 10 years. Mrs. Perdue was the daughter of the late, Clarence E. and Bessie Ruth Dennison Hodges. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William “Bill” Perdue. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, William Bradley Barnes; sisters, Lucy Spraker, Jean Hill, Virginia Joyce and Geraldine Hodges and brothers, Jasper “Buddy” Hodges, Leonard “JR” Hodges and Alvin L. Hodges.

She is survived by:

Son – William Larry (Joyce) Perdue of Williamsburg, VA

Daughter – Evelyn P. (Butch) Barnes of Mt. Juliet, TN

Brothers – James “Jimmy” Hodges of Ridgeway, VA and

Westfelt, Dortha Fannie Beaty, age 90, of Nashville, TN, died December 3, 2019. Fannie was a member of Donelson Height Methodist Church. She was also a member of Buchanan Chapter #286, Order of the Eastern Star. Fannie was the daughter of the late, Dewey M. and Ora Evans Beaty. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Hamblen, Glenn Oco, age 85, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 12, 2019. Mr. Hamblen was founder and owner of Hamblen Auto Repair and Wrecker Service since 1962. He was the son of the late, Glenn J. Hamblen and Pearl Gailey. Mr. Hamblen was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Carson and Ada Hamblen and Elisabelle Tenpenney.

Whittle, Della Taylor, age 72, of Hermitage, TN, died December 14, 2019.

Della attended Tulip Grove Baptist Church and was a 20 year employee of Ingram Book Company. She enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing and computer games. Della also enjoyed trips to Tunica. She was the daughter of the late, Forrest and Marjorie Taylor. Della was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Rufus Edward Whittle and siblings, Ann Evans, Mary Knight, Carroll Taylor and Bud Taylor and son-in-law, Donnie Johnson.

She is survived by:

Clark, Alfred McDonald “Don”, age 92, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 17, 2019. Mr. Clark was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a retiree of Ford Glass Plant. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Air Stream club and president of the Tennessee unit. Mr. Clark was the son of the late, Bratton J. and Mickie Bell Jenkins Clark. He was also preceded in death by his son, Wendell Clark and brothers, Paul Clark and Eddie Clark.

Basch, Bianca Olga Elizabeth, age 71, of Hermitage, TN, was born in San Juan, TX and died in Hermitage, TN. Our beloved and cherished wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend arrived in our Lord Jesus’ arms on December 14, 2019. Bianca was an artist extraordinaire, a decorator, a great cook and the most loving wife and person you would ever meet. She was extremely generous with her many God-given talents and her loving kindness touched everyone who knew her. Bianca brightened our lives and when she entered a room her personality shone like the brightest star. She was joyful, patient, kind, good, faithful and gentle and made each person feel so special. Bianca lived in accordance with the Holy Spirit and was a beacon of light and truth for all whose lives she touched. She had a love for children, as they did for her, and a heart for the Spanish community. Bianca was so loved and will be dearly missed until the day when we will see her again in eternity. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luis Cavazos, Sr. and Ester Hinojosa Cavazos and her sisters, Ophelia Madden and Olivia Oliverez.

Harold also liked looking at antique cars and going out to eat. He was the son of the late, Rufus and Lillie Pendley Teague. Harold was also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Moyna Lee Murphy Teague; his brother, John Teague and his sisters, Cathy Neel and Lou Price.
