Janice E. Bond

Bond, Janice E., age 87, of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was born in Nashville, TN to the late Murray and Maggie Wilkes Kidwell. Janice was a 1958 graduate of East Nashville High School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the White Shrine, where she served as Past Worthy High Priestess. She was also a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of American Legion Post 82 and the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Al Menah Shrine Drum and Bugle Corps. Janice also enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Springfield Squares. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James T. “Jimmy” Bond.

She is survived by:

Daughters – Debra (Tommy) Hunter and Cynthia (Doyle) Stacey

Stepsons – Andy (Tracey) Bond and Tim Bond

4 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon, TN, conducted by William Wiley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
