Judy Overall Finley

Judy Overall Finley passed away on Oct. 8, 2026, at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Bowen Overall and Holborn Overall. She is survived by family and friends. Everyone who met Judy loved her. She was a giving soul. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Judy graduated from Mt.Juliet High School, class of 1963; followed by Lipscomb College, where she earned her teaching degree in 3 years. She started teaching, first in Memphis, then returning to Wilson County; she taught at Lakeview and W.A. Wright as a 3rd grade teacher. She taught with books but also by example. Judy retired in 1997 to be able to care for her mother.

A service celebrating Judy's life will be held in the chapel of Corinth Church of Christ (the original building) at 2205 Corinth Road, Mt. Juliet, on Nov. 7, 2026. at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00.
