Gertrude Talley

Gertrude Carrine Talley, age 100, of Old Hickory, TN passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Gertrude was born in Nashville, the daughter of the late Johnnie and Minnie Spann Miller. She was a member of Meredian Street United Methodist and Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles Woodruff Talley, her sister, Mary Davis Park, and her son-in-law, Gary R. Drennon.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Barbara Drennon

Grandsons – Gary Dale (Larci) Drennon, Christopher Lee (Michelle) Drennon, and Chad William (Raiza) Drennon.

Great Grandchildren – Jessica (Mike) Hamilton, Julie (Douglas) Harp, Briana (Nick) Wilson, Rebecca (John) Steiskal, Gage Drennon, Adam (Allyssa) Drennon, Makayla Drennon, and Noah Drennon

Great-great Grandchildren – Laila, Brantley, Weston, Mila, Emma, Olivia, and Elliott

A graveside service and interment will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, officiated by Linda Harp. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Dale Drennon, Chris Drennon, Chad Drennon, Michael Hamilton, Douglas Harp, and Gage Drennon.
