Malone, James Charlie, age 93, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 8, 2018. Mr. Malone was a member of Donelson Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed reading his Bible and watching Westerns. Mr. Malone was the son of the late, Schyler and Willie Martin Malone.

Warren, Dillon Cole, age 28, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 8, 2018. Dillon was a 2009 graduate of Family Christian Academy, where he was a member of the FFA. He attended The Glade Church. Dillon enjoyed the outdoors and being with his friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Welch.

Berg, Linda Bright, age 74, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 8, 2018. Mrs. Berg was a member of Celebration Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting and reading. Mrs. Berg was the daughter of the late, Ernest William Bright, Jr. and Mabel Lofgren Bright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Berg and her siblings, William Gus Bright, Patricia Gulbranson, Jeanne Grimmer and Nancy Worley.

Bilbrey, James Michael “Mike”, age 71, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 7, 2018. Mike was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an auditor for the State of Tennessee and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University. He was the son of the late, James Willard and Johnie Ferril Bilbrey.

Gwin, Kenneth Wayne, age 90, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 8, 2018.
Mr. Gwin was retired from Dupont with 40 years of service. He was the son of the late, Sam Vick and Marion Hill Gwin. On December 31, 2018, Mr. Gwin would have celebrated his 91st birthday and his 63rd wedding anniversary.

Murphy, Chester, age 88, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 13, 2018. Mr. Murphy was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantry Badge, the Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars and the UN Service Medal. Mr. Murphy was the son of the late, Andrew Jackson and Pearl Creekmore Murphy. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Christine Murphy and his siblings, Billy J. Murphy and Evelyn Babb.

Harlan, Linda Clarice, age 75, a resident of Windland South in Nashville TN, died December 11, 2018. Mrs. Harlan was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, TN. She enjoyed nature, flowers and bird watching. Mrs. Harlan was the daughter of the late, Roy and Mildred Mitchell Ellingwood. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Mark Ellingwood.

Reilley, Jr., Edmund “Ed” John, age 69, of Old Hickory, TN, died December 15, 2018. Ed was a former employee of Urban Housing. He was an avid reader and a history buff. Above all, Ed valued the meaning of a good education. He was constantly encouraging others to better themselves. Ed was the son of the late, Edmund John Reilley, Sr. and Jean Katherine Spring Reilley.

Quintini, Penne, 75 years young, of Brentwood, TN, died peacefully on December 18, 2018.
Penne grew up in Illinois and Indiana. After attending Indiana State University, Penne followed her oldest sister to New York City to study fashion & merchandizing. She began her career as a buyer on the designer floor of Lord and Taylor in the 1960s. After 30+ years, Penne closed out her career in the Customer Service department at Macy’s in Cool Springs.
Her career and family life took her to live not only in New York; she called the states of Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Indiana her home, with the last 26 years in Nashville, Tennessee. Penne loved to travel, spending holidays with her daughter in San Diego, California.
Among her hobbies and charity, Penne was an avid supporter of the local library, and was a member of the Prayer Shawl Knitting Ministry at Brentwood United Methodist Church. She was the designated baker for all family birthdays and holidays. Her beautiful cross-stitch and needlepoint work adorns the walls of every family member’s home.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathe Palmucci of San Diego, California; her sister, Judi Shanks of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. One of her greatest joys was her grand-dog named Fernando, a Jack-Chi. She took long walks on the beaches of San Diego with him every winter.
Penne was the daughter of the late, J.B. “Tiny” and Mary Horton of Terre Haute, Indiana. Her sister, Jan Horton, recently preceded her in death in December 2017.
Funeral services will be held 10am on Wednesday, January 2nd at Brentwood United Methodist Church, 309 Franklin Road, Brentwood, Tennessee 37027.

Tidwell, Edward Thomas “Eddie”, age 63, of Lebanon, TN, died December 23, 2018. Eddie was a longtime employee of Rogers Manufacturing. He was an avid golfer and animal lover. Eddie was always known to be a giver. He was the son of the late, Bobby Leon and Mary E. Adams Tidwell. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Phineas and Electa Adams and paternal grandparents, Edward N. Tidwell and Ora Lee Foust.

Ferari, Lorraine Magdalene, age 79, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 31, 2018. Lorraine enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She made blankets for everyone, including the Mt. Juliet Fire Fighters and Paramedics. Lorraine also raised Collies. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Lorraine was the daughter of the late, Nicholas and Josephine Haemmerle Vande Veerdonk. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Brown and Grietje McCollum.
