Billie Sue Agee, born on October 2, 1943, in Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025. Billie dedicated 42 years to the banking industry, primarily in the Mt. Juliet area, and retired as the vice president of Wilson Bank and Trust in 2009. She was a proud graduate of Mt. Juliet High School, class of 1961, where she served as captain of the cheerleading squad.
A devoted member of Cooks Methodist Church for 50 years, Billie taught the adult women's Sunday school class for 23 years and was also a member of Victory Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of eleven and a half years, Anthony E. Smith; her siblings Kitty Vines (Darryl) and William S. "Bill" Easley (Simone); her children Eddie Agee, Denise Schoenbachler (Alan), Sharon Vaden (Scott), and Jeff Smith (Karen); her grandchildren, Ashlee Smith (Josiah), Amber Cheek (Will), Josh Schoenbachler (Becky), Caitlin Barton (Timmy), and AJ Schoenbachler; and her great-grandchildren Sonny, Stella, Stone, Stetson, Campbell, Miles, and Henry.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Edmund Jackson "Peewee" Agee, and her parents, William S. Easley and Bertha Hardaway Easley.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel, conducted by Bro. Chuck Groover, with internment to follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Scott Vaden, Zach Vaden, Josiah Smith, Will Cheek, Timmy Barton, and AJ Schoenbachler. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel.
