Colonel J. T. Cassetty, age 83 of Mt. Juliet and formerly of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Thursday evening, January 3, 2019 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Funeral Services for Colonel J. T. Cassetty will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, January 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Billy Parkerson officiating. Interment will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard.

Draper, Michael Eugene, age 76, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died January 2, 2019.
Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired vice president and comptroller with TVA. He was the son of the late, D.M. and Mildred Cole Draper. Mike was also preceded in death by his brothers, Stanly Draper and Cecil Draper and his nephew, Keith Draper.

Pennycuff, Ralph Jacob “Jake”, age 22, of Denver, CO and formerly of Mt. Juliet, TN, died January 2, 2019. Jake was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Pikeville, TN. He graduated 2017 from Southeast Lineman Training Center with the highest GPA of his class. Jake enjoyed Tennessee Volunteer football, history, politics and had a passion for learning. He was an intellectual that saw humanity as one race and felt compassion for all. “If you don’t believe in free speech you don’t believe in the implicit divinity of mankind. You don’t believe in the sovereignty of the individual. “ Jake was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Terwilliger and cousins, Caitlyn and Jessica.

McDougal, Sean Hollis, age 19, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died January 3, 2019. Sean and his family have been members of First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet for many years. He was set to graduate from Legacy Family Academy this year and wanted to be a gunsmith. Sean was a singer and a member of the award winning McDougal Kids, singing Inspirational and Country music. He was fun-loving and adventurous. He even rode a bull and went sky diving. Sean was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jesse McDougal; maternal grandfather, Timothy A. Murray; aunt, Holly McDougal and uncle, George Timms.

Ramey, Herman Leslie, age 75, of Old Hickory, TN, died January 10, 2019.
Mr. Ramey was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ and a volunteer for the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund. He was retired from Roadway Express. Mr. Ramey was the son of the late, Woody and Thelma Ramey. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Ramey and sister, Emogene Ward.

Hagar, John Robert, age 86, of Hermitage, TN, died January 14, 2019.
Mr. Hagar had been a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Hermitage for over 50 years. He retired as the Assistant Fire Marshall for the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department. He had a life-long love for playing the fiddle and was known as “The Fiddling Fireman”.. Mr. Hagar was the son of the late, Emmett Guill and Nova Zembla Jenkins Hagar. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Elizabeth Roberson Hagar and 9 siblings.

Davidson, Rebecca Kay Thompson “Becky”, age 38, of Lakewood, CO, died December 13, 2018 after a fiercely fought two-year battle with breast cancer. Becky grew up in Mt. Juliet, TN and received her BS in Biology from Tennessee Technological University in 2002.She married Brad Davidson in 2003 and obtained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech in 2007. Brad and Becky moved to Denver, CO where she practiced medicine at Columbine animal Hospital. In 2011, she left veterinary medicine to be a full-time homemaker and mother. Becky was known to everyone that met her for her incredible kindness, gentle green eyes and squinty smile. She was a gymnast, a triathlete, a mountain biker, an alpine climber, a backcountry skier, a passionate reader, a letter writer and a crafter. Becky enjoyed doing anything with her husband and children, especially in the mountains. She attended Skyview Presbyterian Church in Centennial, CO.

Mike was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a retired auditor for the State of Tennessee, Department of Revenue and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University.
