Wesley Allen Whitaker

Wesley Allen Whitaker passed away on April 1, 2025. He was born in Lubbock, TX to the late Wesley and Verna Whitaker. Wesley spent most of his career as a truck driver and had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoyed mowing and landscaping. He was an avid sports fan and had a big heart for his pets. Above all, Wesley was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Debra Whitaker; his children, Dana (Eric) Story, Nichole Whitaker, and Josh (Kristi) Whitaker; his brothers, Wayne and Warren Whitaker; and his sister, Cherie Graves. He was a proud grandfather to Alyssa, Madison, Zac (Jada), Ty, Ally, Ely, Wesley, Lydia, Cora, Wyatt, Keegan, Manola, Emmitt, Rosey, and Henry, and a beloved great-grandfather to Gracie and Oliver. He also leaves behind a large extended family who will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on April 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
