James Howard Beck

James Howard Beck , known to friends and family as Jim, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, at the age of 70.

Jim spent his professional life as a dedicated insurance broker. Outside of work, he and his beloved wife Karen, who preceded him in death, shared a passion for travel and especially loved cruising to new and exciting destinations. Jim will be missed dearly by all who knew him, but we take comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To honor Jim’s memory, please show kindness to everyone you meet.

Jim was also preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mary Beck. He is survived by his sisters, Terrye Blystone and Trudy (Rick) Abaya; his nephews, Justin Abaya, Chas (Victoria An) Blystone, and Tyler (Ellen) Blystone; and great-nieces Sally and Sunny Blystone.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church 2905 N. Mt. Juliet Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN 37122.
