Eva Louise Burton Turner

Eva Louise Burton Turner , beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, in Nashville, TN, at the age of 70.

Born on February 3, 1955, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, Eva was a vibrant, compassionate woman whose door—and heart—were always open. Known as a true social butterfly and the "neighborhood mother," Eva had a rare gift for making people feel welcome, loved, and never alone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Turner; daughter, Destinee June Turner; mother, Irene Owens; stepfather, Dallas Owens; biological father Elmer Burton; sister, Mary Owens; and brothers, Alan Owens and William Coffey.

Eva is survived by her children: Raychel Sparrow (and wife Lilith), Coy Turner II, and Justin Turner (and wife Sierra); as well as her beloved grandson, Ace. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, kindness, and selfless care for others.

In accordance with Eva’s wishes, there will be no formal service. The family asks that no flowers or gifts be sent. Those who wish to honor her memory may do so through kindness in their own communities. For more information or to share memories, please contact her children directly.

Eva’s presence was a blessing, and her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
