Judith A. Peary, more often known as "Judy", was born on July 11, 1950, in Washington D.C., passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025. A proud graduate of Balboa High School in the Panama Canal in 1968, Judith dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked as a registered nurse, and for a period of time, she embraced the role of a travel nurse, touching countless lives along the way.
Those who knew Judy appreciated her deep love for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. Vogel and Lillian Vogel, her daughter Alina Damrow, and her older sister Jeanne Brink. She is survived by her beloved children: James Peary III (Jennifer), Jessica Peary, and Hope Peary. Judith also cherished her siblings, including her brother John A. Vogel (Kathy) and sisters Jan Branchaud (Gary), Joyce Will (Mike), and Joann Brink (Ed). Her legacy lives on through her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Judy was an active member of the Daughters of the King, a religious organization, reflecting her commitment to faith and community. Her passions extended beyond her profession; she delighted in reading, crocheting, and spending time at church, finding joy in both quiet moments and gatherings with loved ones.
Judy's light shined brightly to those around her, and her caring nature will be deeply missed by those who knew her. A funeral service for Judy will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 2pm at the Church of the Epiphany in Lebanon, TN at 1500 Hickory Ridge Road, Lebanon, TN 37087.
