Ann Knollenberg.jpeg

Knollenberg, Ann Marie, age 61, of Mt. Juliet, TN died on the evening of July 15, 2023. Ann was born in Stenløse, Denmark, and was a 1979 graduate of McGavock High School. She was a well-loved employee of Pinnacle Bank for 16 years. Ann met the love of her life, Tom, in 1987. They were married on June 28, 1988, and were never apart for 35 years. Over that time, they celebrated the birth of their three wonderful children and created memories that will last a lifetime. Ann was an incredible artist, whether it was with a paintbrush, knitting needle, or craft, everything she created was extraordinary. Ann’s love of creating beautiful things extended to her garden. It wasn’t unusual to find her happily sitting outside with her rosebushes, pruning and encouraging them to grow. The smell of fresh baked bread always lingered in their home and a sheet of cookies was usually out on the counter - though they never seemed to last long. Ann passed her love of 70’s music on to her children. ABBA and Elton John were always in constant rotation. If there was such a thing as magic, she had no shortage of it. She would sprinkle pixie dust (and glitter!) on every person who was lucky enough to know her. Even though she is no longer physically here, we know “she is the sun in the sky that is still shining above us” (ABBA).

Wolverton pic.jpg

Wolverton, Carol, age 73, on July 26, was met at the Pearly Gates by her mother and father, Dorothy and Pete Eisaman, her husband, Richard Wolverton, and her best friend Marianne Wise, as well as other friends and family members. “Crazy Carol” as she was known by her friends was a spunky, creative, caring, happy lady with a unique and one-of-a-kind personality. She was always there when you were in need or needing a good laugh and beautiful smile.

Creative was her middle name, especially if you need a mannequin covered in recyclable costume jewelry or a flower made out of plates. Making unique arts and crafts with friends was one of her favorite things to do.

Gardening was her second love. She would spend hours outside in her garden, planting, watering, and picking. Having freshly picked vegetables and herbs was a joy for her. If she wasn’t in the garden, she was in her pool doing her 70 laps or feeding the birds from her several bird feeders.

This Pittsburgh transplant, who spent the last 49 years in Wilson County, is survived by her two children, Amie Wolverton and Steve Wolverton, her sister, Nancy Geiser and brother, Glenn Eisaman and their spouses and children.

There will be a Celebration of Life on August 19, from 2-5pm at her home. Remember to “Be bad and be Good at it” and you know that Carol “Is Fabulous”.  She is doing Colorful Mosaics and painting heavenly rocks to leave for all of us to find and to remember her.
