Wilma Rebecca Rhodes

Rhodes, Wilma Rebecca Godfrey, age 93, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Wilma was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to the late Willie Riggs Godfrey and Bessie Mundon Godfrey. Wilma was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lakewood. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Julian Rhodes, brothers, Clifford Godfrey and Vincent Godfrey , and sisters, Clarene Richardson and Lucibe Godfrey.

Wilma is survived by:

Children – Willie Daniel Rhodes, Peggy Rhodes Martin, and Gerald Lewis (Wendy) Rhodes

Brother – Willie Riggs (Mildred) Godfrey, Jr. of Elizabeth City, North Carolina

Sister – Margret Godfrey Breeden of Lancaster, South Carolina

Grandchildren – Danny Rhodes, Anthony Rhodes, Wayne Garrett, Jeremy Garrett, Jeremy Felts, Christopher Rhodes, and Joshua Rhodes

And 11 Great Grandchildren

A private graveside service and interment will take place at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
