William Hipsher Lundy

Lundy, William Hipsher , age 26, passed away September 19, 2023 in Chattanooga. He was born in Knoxville on February 11, 1997. He was a graduate of Mount Juliet Christian Academy where he was the salutatorian of his graduating class. He graduated with honors from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in electrical engineering and was employed as a controls engineer at Sargent and Lundy in Chattanooga. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and LeeVena Lundy.

Grandparents – James and Polly Hipsher

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Tulip Grove Baptist Church, 563 Shute Lane, Hermitage, TN with Rev. Phillip Lundy, Jr. and Dr. Gerald Bontrager officiating. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Hank Andrews, Dalton Burroughs, Daniel Mathis, Matthew Mathis, Josiah Scott, and Caleb Wallace.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday and 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
