William Herbert Hill, Jr.

Hill, Jr., William Herbert, “Bill Hill” , age 78, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died September 12, 2024. Bill was born in Westmoreland, TN and was the son of the late, William Herbert Hill, Sr. and Florence Catherine Wyant Hill. He was a 1964 graduate of East High school and graduated Belmont University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He was the MIS director at Peabody University, IT director at Texas Boot, and was retired from Mephisto USA. Bill grew up loving the water along with vacationing at the beach, boating, and water skiing on the lake. He loved traveling, was an avid reader and a Jimmy Buffett fan. He was a loving father to his sons. One of his greatest joys was being a devoted grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Hill and his sister, Donna Hill Peeler.

Bill is survived by:

Son – Ryan (Katie) Hill

Grandchildren – Abigale Hill, Eva Hill, Adalyn Hill, Holly Hill and Canon Hill

Niece – Shelby Freeman Hill

Family and friends will gather from 4-6 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2024 at Bond Memorial Chapel to Celebrate Bill’s Life.

The family requests no flowers but feel free to make a donation to the charity of your choice in Bill’s name.
