Wendell Bernard Jones

Jones, Wendell Bernard “Wen” , age 72, of Mt. Juliet, TN died September 8, 2022. Wen was born in Nashville, TN and was the son of the late, Kenneth Herod Jones and Ruby Louise Pulley Jones. He attended Cornerstone Church. Wen was a family man and a hard worker. He gained his work ethic by delivering newspapers while he attended Middle School and High School and retired from Lipman Brothers with 45 years of service. He was an avid UT and Titans fan and enjoyed technology, collecting books, Bibles and coins. Wen was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Hickman.

He is survived by:

Wife of 47 years –Jacquelyn “Jackie” Jones

Children – Wendy Williams, Christopher (Marlene) Jones, Keith (Amy) Jones and

Brent Jones

Grandchildren – Giselle Williams and Will and Kara Jones

Brother-in-law – Ernie Hickman

Sister-in-law – Jan (Tim) Wassell

Nieces and nephew – Tiffani Wassell (Andrew) Wooster, Cayce Wassell ,

Elle Wassell (Sam) Mummert, Kelly Hickman Walker and Julie Hickman

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
