Trenton Blake "Trent" Sheppard, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away May 16, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Trent was born on March 27, 1990. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Trent was known for his enthusiasm for life, particularly his love of sports. Trent grew up playing hockey and baseball and was a dedicated fan of the Tennessee Titans, Volunteers, and Nashville Predators.
Beyond his athletic pursuits, Trent was a jack of all trades, sharing his handy skills with those around him. He was also the proud owner of his own HVAC company, where he put his talents to good use. Trent had a deep affection for his nieces and nephews and had a special place in his heart for his furry companion, Jake. Trent and Jake often enjoyed spending time enjoying each other's company by the lake in the afternoons.
Trent will be remembered as a big-hearted guy who brought joy to everyone he met. His spirit will live on in the memories of his family and friends, who will cherish the time spent with him. He will be greatly missed.
Trent is survived by his mother (Amy Sheppard), his sister and brother-in-law (Heather and Daniel Johnson), and his nieces and nephews (Jack, Emma, Anabelle, and William Johnson), as well as his maternal grandmother (Peggy Lawrence). Trent was preceded in death by his father (Charles Sheppard), maternal grandfather (James Lawrence), and his paternal grandparents (George and Kathenia Sheppard).
A celebration of his life will take place at The Glade Church at 9000 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122, on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10: a.m with the service to follow.
