Twohig, Timothy Michael , age 67, of Crossville, TN died May 20, 2023. Tim was born in Chicago, IL and was the son of the late, William Francis Twohig, Jr. and Veronica Madden Twohig. He was a retired Captain with the U.S. Marine Corps. Tim was a member of Cumberland Fellowship in Crossville, TN and Faith Lutheran Church in Lebanon, TN. He was also preceded in death by his son, Richard Twohig. Tim lived a life of service; that was his calling. AA Sponsorship, Marines, praise and worship member, church accompanist, Grief Share leader, coach to city-league baseball and football, greeting cards for every occasion, gift giving, pounding the pavement for his favorite organizations, mentorship to tweens and teens through Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Kids on the Rise, feeding/helping secure homes and furnishings for the homeless through Compassionate Hands and The Storehouse. There are literally thousands of people who have been impacted by his touch on their lives and his ability to ALWAYS see the good and give unconditional love no matter where you come from, who you are or what you believe. That is his legacy. Service. You will be missed.

He is survived by:

Wife of 13 years – Aimee Lea Twohig

Children – Christopher Twohig, Tori (Stuart) Ruis and Vanessa (Michael) Lashlee

Brother – William (Kathy) Twohig

Sister – Connie (David) Dybel

Grandchildren – Elizabeth Twohig, Damon Twohig, Christopher Twohig, Adysson Ruis

and Sophia Lashlee

Nieces and nephew – Kimberly Berghoff, Jeffrey Twohig and Carrie Melton

Great-nieces and nephews – Alex, Ryan, Aaaron, Finley, Wyatt, Kayza, Trinity, Athena

and Jaiden

A Celebration of Life service, with full military honors, will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1655 W. Main Street, Lebanon, TN with Pastor Matthew Steinhauer officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Berghoff, Ryan Berghoff, Aaron Berghoff, Finley Twohig, Michael Lashlee, Stuart Ruis and Jeff Twohig.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Compassionate Hands, Kids on the Rise, Wounded Warrior or Smoky Mountain Service Dogs.
