Shirlie Jean Wilmoth

Wilmoth, Shirlie Jean , age 84, of Mt. Juliet, TN, went to be with the Lord November 6 2020. Shirlie was a member of the Barn Church where she served as the Event Director. She was employed at CNA Insurance Company for 23 years as Secretary to the Claims Manager. Shirlie was the daughter of the late, Kenneth and Teola Reed Willeford. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Glade Taylor. Shirlie’s (affectionately known as Gigi to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren), greatest joy was her family and the love of her church.

She is survived by:

Husband of 66 years – Colonel Guy Wilmoth (Retired Army)

Son – Mark Wilmoth

Daughter – Michelle (Robert) Taylor

Sister – Carlene (Gordon) Bracey

Grandchildren – Joshua Chance (Krisie) Wilmoth, Kelsey Robin (Zak) Sneed,

Shelby (Matti) Miettinen, Cassidy Gibbs and

Braxton (Megan) Taylor

Great-grandchildren – Jaide Wallace, Kensley Taylor, Poppy Taylor,

Wyatt Sneed and Harper Sneed

Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dave Deppisch officiating. FOR THOSE WHO PLAN TO ATTEND, PLEASE WEAR A MASK. Interment will follow at Algood Cemetery in Algood, TN.

Active pallbearers will be Alan Eakes, Billy Williams, Rob Taylor, Matti Miettinen, Braxton Taylor and Zak Sneed.
