Sam Isbell, Sr.

Isbell, Sr., Sam , age 74, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died November 3, 2018. Sam retired from Lucent Technologies with 36 years of service. He was a dedicated Alaskan fisherman and avid Nashville Predators fan. Sam was the son of the late, Elmer Levi and Irene Powell Isbell. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Chad Bodine.

He is survived by:

Wife of 53 years – Ann Isbell

Sons – Sam (Donna) Isbell, Jr. and Matthew (Christina) Isbell

Daughter – Linn (Anders Lissollas) Johansson

Grandchildren – Brad (Jessica) Bodine, Brittany Callahan, Anna Claire Isbell, Samantha Isbell, Olive Lissollas and Celine Lissollas

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at Bond Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Association of Middle Tennessee, 4300 Sidco Drive, Suite #200, Nashville, TN 37204.
