Roy Allan Cutright

Cutright, Roy Allan , age 70, of Mt. Juliet, TN died November 4, 2023. Roy coached basketball and baseball in both high school and college. He was a respected umpire, unwavering Braves baseball fan, and a minor league coach, leaving behind a legacy of sportsmanship and kindness.

As a coach, Roy inspired athletes on the court and field. His umpiring brought integrity to the game, and his passion for the Braves was infectious.

Beyond his achievements, Roy was a truly pleasant person, known for his warmth and generosity. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and infectious smile.

Roy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Mahala Cutright and Sister Donna Chaney.

He is survived by:

Daughters- Paige (Kevin) Fuhrer and Ragan Cutright

Sister- Glenda (Phil) Hammond

Brother-in-law- Chris (Michelle) Perry

Niece- Lisa (Tim) Hodgson

Nephew- Ian Hammond, Dylan (Ariel) Perry, Cole Perry, Matt (Shelby) Wood, and Dallas Wood

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at UPIKE Gymnasium in Pikeville, KY.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m.
