Robert Franjesh

Robert "Bob or Bobby" Franjesh, 81, of Mount Juliet, TN passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, following a long battle with heart disease.

Bob was born on February 14th, 1945, in Akron, OH to the late Joseph and Anna Franjesh. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who left a legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and countless memories.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Deborah "Debbie" Franjesh. Together, they built a life centered around family and the many memories they shared. He is survived by his brother, John (Judy); sister-in-law, Helen; his brother, Thomas (Mary Ann). He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph (Marlene); and his brother Anthony. He is also survived by his children, Melissa Franjesh, Paul Franjesh (Linda), Kim Thomas (Jason), and Kandice Page (John) and was preceded in death by his son, Bob Franjesh.

His 5 grandchildren, PJ, Samantha, Zach, Hope, and Allie were a tremendous source of joy and pride in his life. To the ones that got to really know him, he was much more than a grandfather-he was someone who showed up, made them laugh, encouraged them, and created memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

His granddaughter Samantha expressed what so many of his family members feel: “Grandpa gave us so much, not only in the big moments but in the everyday ones. He gave us laughter, stories, and memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives." She reflected on the little things she will miss—the sound of his sneeze, watching him get excited over a casino win, playing games with the family, and his requests for deer sausage and Belgrade's chicken from Akron. "Those simple memories will stay with us for the rest of our lives."

His granddaughter Allie shared how grateful she was that God chose him to be her grandfather. She remembered how he could always make her smile, how he showed up for her activities even when he wasn't feeling well, and how he was such a fighter and never gave up on life." Her words said it simply: “I love you so much and I can't wait to see you again, Grandpa. Fly high."

Bob's family will hold tightly to the little pieces of him—the stories, laughter and countless memories that will keep him close in their hearts.

Though he will be deeply missed, his love and legacy will live through his family for generations to come.

Rest peacefully, Bob. You fought hard, you loved deeply, and you will never be forgotten.
