Robert F. "Bob" Brunton Jr.

Robert F. Brunton Jr., of Old Hickory, passed away on August 24, 2026. He was born on October 17, 1933, in Anglewood, New Jersey, to the late Peggy "Andre'" Brunton and Robert F. Brunton Sr. 

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Brunton, and his parents. He now joins Shirley, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage, family, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Widen; his sons, John (Kim) Brunton and Bobby (Deb) Brunton; and his daughters, Sheena (Thomas) Lazenby and Sarah (Stephen) Andrews.

Robert's legacy continues through his large, loving family, including 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. His family was an important part of his life, and the generations that follow him will carry forward his memory. 

Robert will be remembered with love by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, extended family, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will live on through the stories shared, the lessons passed down, and the love of the family he leaves behind. 

A graveside service for Robert will take place at a local Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Additional details regarding Robert's services will be provided as they become available.
