Rebecca Kay Thompson “Becky” Davidson

Davidson, Rebecca Kay Thompson “Becky” , age 38, of Lakewood, CO, died December 13, 2018 after a fiercely fought two-year battle with breast cancer. Becky grew up in Mt. Juliet, TN and received her BS in Biology from Tennessee Technological University in 2002.She married Brad Davidson in 2003 and obtained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech in 2007. Brad and Becky moved to Denver, CO where she practiced medicine at Columbine animal Hospital. In 2011, she left veterinary medicine to be a full-time homemaker and mother. Becky was known to everyone that met her for her incredible kindness, gentle green eyes and squinty smile. She was a gymnast, a triathlete, a mountain biker, an alpine climber, a backcountry skier, a passionate reader, a letter writer and a crafter. Becky enjoyed doing anything with her husband and children, especially in the mountains. She attended Skyview Presbyterian Church in Centennial, CO.

She is survived by:

Husband of 15 years – Brad Davidson

Children – Tristan, Laurel and Samuel

Parents – Robert “Bob” Thompson, Jr. and Linda Thompson

Grandfather – Robert Thompson, Sr.

Brother – Robert Thompson, III

Father and mother-in-law – Steve and Linda Davidson

Brother and sister-in-law – Brian and Brittany Davidson

Nieces – Grace, Kajsa, Aubrey and Olivia

Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 735 N. Mt. Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, TN.

In lieu of flowers, please donate, by using the link below, for Becky’s medical and funeral expenses. The remaining funds will be used by Brad as he raises their three young children as a single father.
