Pennycuff, Ralph Jacob “Jake”, age 22, of Denver, CO and formerly of Mt. Juliet, TN, died January 2, 2019. Jake was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Pikeville, TN. He graduated 2017 from Southeast Lineman Training Center with the highest GPA of his class. Jake enjoyed Tennessee Volunteer football, history, politics and had a passion for learning. He was an intellectual that saw humanity as one race and felt compassion for all. “If you don’t believe in free speech you don’t believe in the implicit divinity of mankind. You don’t believe in the sovereignty of the individual. “ Jake was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Terwilliger and cousins, Caitlyn and Jessica.

He is survived by:

Parents – Roger and Tracy Pennycuff

Sisters – Amber Lynn (Cody) Carroll and Amanda (Dustin) Roberts

Maternal grandmother – Nancy Terwilliger

Paternal grandparents – Ralph and Jane Pennycuff

Niece and nephew – Ainsley Roberts and Reed Roberts

Several cousins

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Eric Wood and Neil Pennycuff officiating. Honorarary pallbearers will be Cody Carroll, Dustin Roberts, Albert “Benji” Roussin and the Three Amigos: Stephen English, Cole Ellis and C.J. Harper.
