Patty Sue Davenport

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patty Sue Davenport , age 84, of Mt. Juliet, TN, on February 22, 2025. Patty was born on August 6, 1940, to loving parents Charlie and Ollie Mae Rodgers. She grew up in Dyersburg, TN and was surrounded by three loving brothers and three loving sisters.

She is survived by:

Her loving husband – Dean Davenport

Son – Ken (Mary) Smith

Daughter – Angela Smith (Kevin) Jones

Loving Sister – Hazel Jones

Step-son – Alan (Denise) Davenport

Step-daughter – Dana (Darin) Anderson

Step-son – Bruce Davenport

In her final days she was surrounded by many grandkids, great-grandkids and devoted friends. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Bond Memorial Chapel. Patty’s final resting place will be in Dyersburg, TN where she always felt at peace and will be surrounded by her parents. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Friendship (Sudbury) Cemetery.
