Patrick Jonathan Bruce, Jr.

Bruce, Jr., Patrick Jonathan “Jon” , age 20 of Hermitage, TN, died January 7, 2021. Jon was born April 18, 2000 in Nashville, TN. He was a 2018 graduate of Donelson Christian Academy where he played baseball and football. After high school, Jon attended the University of Memphis. He was a Sports Management  major and planned to become a sports agent.  Jon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Sherwood and Ples Bruce and his uncle, Ples Bruce, Jr.

He is survived by:

Mother – Pam Bruce

Father – Patrick Bruce

Sister – Paige Bruce

Grandmothers – Belva Sherwood and Flora Bruce

Special Friend - Lindsey Twelvetrees

Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

Jon's smile would light up a room. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends and impacted many, many lives. Even through his cancer journey, he remained strong in his faith and gave God glory every day. He is no longer in pain and is celebrating with Jesus.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jimmy Fund Clinic at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA 02445.
