Owen Middleton

Owen Francis Middleton, beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away on September 18, 2026. Owen was an internationally recognized artist, composer, and teacher of classical guitar, most recently as a lecturer at the University of South Alabama. A lifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church in Mobile, Alabama, Owen served as youth group leader and brought joy to the church community through his music. He is survived by his wife, Anne, his brother Whit Middleton of Mount Juliet, and several nieces and nephews in the Mount Juliet area. There will be no public services at this time.
