Coker, Mitchell Howard , age 67, of Mt. Juliet, TN died January 14, 2023. Mitch was born in Florence, AL and was the son of the late, James Howard Coker and Katherine Thompson Coker. He grew up in Lewisburg, TN later moving to Mt. Juliet. Mitch was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. He began his 30-year career at Nissan in 1982. An early retirement allowed him to pursue several other avenues of work, which included, home security systems, monitoring fuel tanks for Nissan plants in Mississippi and Smyrna, and co-owner of Elite Motor Cars. Always having an interest in his own financial matters, he then obtained his license becoming an Investment Advisor Representative with First Advisors National, later becoming the company’s Senior Vice President. He was Co-Founder of First Family Wealth where he helped numerous Nissan employees and others planning their retirement. His long-time hobbies and interests included classic and antique cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and love for traditional country and bluegrass music. He was a member of the car club Honk, Rattle and Roll and Porsche club of America.

He is survived by:

Wife of 46 years – Denise Wade Coker

Children – Allison Leigh (Brandon) Adkisson and Brian Matthew (Mckenzie) Coker

Brother – Greg Coker

Brother-in-law – Mark (Lori) Wade

Grandchildren – Conner Coker, Caleb Coker, Carson Coker, Brayden Adkisson and

Brynlee Adkisson

Many nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 6 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Mt.

Juliet Church of Christ, 1940 N. Mt. Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, TN with Bro Craig Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Healing Hands International and 1 John 3:15
