Michael Landon Johnson

Johnson, Michael Landon “Mike” , age 53, of Mt. Juliet, TN died March 3, 2023. Mike was born in Nashville, TN and was a 1988 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. He enjoyed fishing, camping, horses and golfing. Mike was a car enthusiast and a people person. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ward Johnson; step-grandson, Joseph Murphy, III; step-grandson, Joseph Murphy, IV and loving dogs, Maggie and Bella.

He is survived by:

Mother – Mary Ruth Johnson

Son – Austin Munson and his mother, Tracey Munson

Sister – Thelma Poole

Grandson – John Austin Munson

Niece – Elizabeth (William) Thomas

Great-niece – Olivia Thomas

Dear Friend – Nelda Shoulders

Wife - Diana Temple Johnson

Step-children - Megan (Jason) Preston, Katelyn (C.J.) Diviaio, Brian Murphy and Jennifer Murphy

Step-grandchildren - Shane Preston, Elizabeth Preston and Emma Lee Murphy

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Tony Porter, Frank Parsons, Matthew Mead, Steve Flannery, Tracey Munsen and Shane Patterson. Honorary pallbearer will be Jude Pischke.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made toward the funeral expenses.
