Michael Hethcote

Hethcote, Mike , age 71, of Nashville, TN, died March 16, 2024.  He was born on October 6, 1952, in Nashville, TN to James Thomas Hethcote and Margie E. Hethcote. Michael, known to many as Mike, was a proud Army veteran. He served his country with honor and dedication. In his career, Michael was a skilled millwright, specializing in breaking down heavy machinery weighing hundreds of thousands of pounds and relocating it to new facilities. His expertise in fabrication and welding was unmatched. Michael was a man of the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. His passion for nature was evident in everything he did. Michael enjoyed spending time outside, especially fishing, which brought him peace and joy. Michael was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca C. Hethcote, his father James Thomas Hethcote, brother Steve Hethcote, and sister Lisa Hethcote -Marshall.

Son- Michael Shane (Lane) Hethcote

Daughter- Stevie Mishal Hethcote

Grandchildren- Emma and Shane

Great-Granddaughter- Henley

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on May 26th at Charlie Daniels Park in Mt. Juliet, TN, from 12:30-3:30.

Michael Hethcote will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His love for his family, dedication to his work, and passion for the outdoors will always be remembered.
