Belew, Dusty, age 54, of Mt. Juliet, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Dusty dedicated his professional life to working as an IT specialist for American Jewelry Co., where his knowledge and commitment were greatly valued. Outside of work, music was one of his greatest passions—he was an avid musician and songwriter who played both guitar and keyboards, and he was a devoted fan of Ozzy Osbourne. Dusty also had an unwavering love for Notre Dame, proudly cheering on the Fighting Irish whenever they took the field. Above all else, he was a deeply loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, whose kindness, enthusiasm, and warmth touched everyone who knew him. He will be missed dearly.

Numerous nieces and nephews
Dusty was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Nadine George, paternal grandparents, Willie “Dunk” and Addie Lee Belew, brother, David Allen Aldridge, and aunt Patricia Gail Belew.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Bond Memorial Chapel conducted by Tim Miner with interment to follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Garrett Hammer, Bobby Collins, Lake Smith, Sailor Belew, Brennan Belew, and Braden Belew. Honorary Pallbearer will be Vincent Aldridge. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel.
