Matthew Estes

Matthew Neil Estes, age 17, of Mt. Juliet, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. Matthew was born on August 29, 2008 in Hermitage, Tennessee to Kenneth and Emily Estes. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, who brought joy and warmth to everyone he met. As an excavator, he found great satisfaction in his work, and he operated an “unlicensed towing service,” always eager to lend a helping hand to his friends in need with his truck. Matthew cherished the great outdoors, indulging in hunting and fishing, and his kindness knew no bounds – he never met a stranger and was truly a friend to all. He lived life to the fullest, leaving behind cherished memories that will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Kampa, paternal grandfather, Robert Estes, and an uncle, Wayne Estes.

Brother – Jacob (McKenzie) Estes

Maternal Grandfather – Clyde Gray

Paternal Grandmother – Bonnie Estes

Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Matthew would also want mentioned his horse, Uno and his dog, Coco

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel conducted by Bro. Danny Tomlinson, with interment to follow at Vivrett, Graves, Brown & Estes Cemetery. Matthew’s brothers and uncles will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at Bond Memorial Chapel on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.
