Maryann Hoover

Hoover, MaryAnn , age 75, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away peacefully, with her immediate family present, on Thursday, January 30, 2025. MaryAnn was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late, Cal and Ann Calvetti. She was a nurse for 25 years, but she spent her whole life taking care of her family and all those around her, putting others always before herself. Bill and Sara were everything to her and she was their strength, comfort and light everyday. Dogs Willie, Snickers, Gee, Bonnie, who recently passed away, Zero, Scarlett and Mellie were loved and cared for greatly by MaryAnn. She will be missed tremendously by her family and the void of her loss will remain with us all until we meet again. Her final resting places will be Seabrook, NH, Elmhurst, PA and Old Hickory, TN, but we will carry her with us always. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Chris Belland.

Daughter – Sara Hoover (Andrew) Shriver

Stepdaughter – Brandy (David) Friedli

Stepson – Craig Hoover

Brother – James J. Calvetti

Grandchildren – Chloe Hutchison, Connor Hutchison, Rosemary Hoover, and Jasmine Hoover

Great Grandchild – Hazel Kirouac Roell

Nephews – Nick (Rebecca) Belland and Dustin (Heather) Belland

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Bond Memorial Chapel with David Friedli officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
