Lola Jean Nolan, age 84, of Mt. Juliet, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. She was born in Nashville, TN to the late Willie and Helen Matthews. Lola Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all. She is described by her family as “Superwoman”, small in stature but strong willed, determined and fierce. She enjoyed her work as an attendant for CSC at Bridgestone Arena. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading. Family was extremely important to Lola Jean and most of all she enjoyed spending time with them. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leon Matthews.

Husband of 38 years – Martin Nolan

Children – Kristie (Jamie) Hyden, Glenn Chandler, Troy (Marylynn) Chandler, Cary Chandler, Kevin (Karen) Nolan, Scott (Neta) Cobb, Kim Cobb, and Doug Cobb.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rich Tiner officiating with entombment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Cary Chandler, Troy Chandler, Glenn Chandler, Kevin Nolan, Jamie Hyden, and Ben Hyden. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
