Larry Douglas Jones, Jr.

Jones, Jr., Larry Douglas “Doug” , age 51, of Old Hickory, TN died November 27, 2022. Doug was born in Nashville, TN. He attended The Belonging Church. His faith was very important to him and he enjoyed reading his devotionals every day. Doug was a 1989 graduate of Donelson Christian Academy. After graduation he attended Western Kentucky University, The University of Tennessee, and went on to graduate from David Lipscomb University. Doug had an extensive career as a pharmaceutical and medical sales representative. Doug was a great motivator and an incredibly charismatic person. His talents shined through his way of communicating with and mentoring others. He was an accomplished pianist and an avid reader. He also enjoyed watching football and working out at the gym. His number one joy in life was cheering on his children in sports, extracurricular, and celebrating their accomplishments. Doug was preceded in death by his father, Larry Douglas Jones, Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Yoshiko Honjo McWhirter and his paternal grandparents, Paul Kenneth and Margaret Jones.

He is survived by:

Children – Larry Douglas Jones, III and Bailey Michelle Jones and their

mother, Monica Jones

Mother – Nancy Jones

Brother – Michael Wayne Jones

Family and friends will gather at Bond Memorial Chapel from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 to Celebrate the Life of Larry.
