Larry Vinson Brooks

Brooks, Larry Vinson , age 69, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died June 7, 2019. Larry was a member of LaGuardo Methodist Church, where he served as steward. He was a 1968 graduate of Wilson County High and a 1972 graduate of School of the Ozarks, Pointe Lookout, MO. Larry was employed by Big K (Walmart) for 25 years as the Shoe Department manager. He later retired from the State of Tennessee as a Fire Marshall and Blasting Investigator. Larry was the son of the late, Alfred Brooks and Willie Mae Saddler. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jamie Carver Brooks; grandmother, Maude “Granny” Saddler; sister, Meccie Threalkill and brothers, Allen Brooks, Walter Brooks, Tony Saddler and Jeffrey Saddler.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Dr. Damond Bragg officiating. Interment will follow at Rutland Community Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be fellow State Fire Marshalls and friends. Flower ladies will be cousins and friends.
