Katherine Elizabeth Whiteaker

Whiteaker, Katherine Elizabeth “Katy” , age 69, of Lebanon, TN died September 14, 2022. Katy was born in Lebanon, TN and was the daughter of the late, Horace Garret and Lucille Eakes Garrett. She was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ and was retired from the Wilson county School System. Katy was also preceded in death by her twin granddaughters, Mercy Ruth and Grace Lucille Witeaker.

She is survived by:

Husband of 49 years – James Whiteaker

Sons – Berek (Kayla) Whiteaker and Jason (Casey) Whiteaker

Sisters – Teresa Richardson, Waldean (Steve) Richardson and Tawanda (Ronnie) Travis

Grandchildren – Gavin Whiteaker, Dylan Whiteaker, Corgan Whiteaker, Hendrix Whiteaker

and Jaxon Whiteaker

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, 1940 N. Mt. Juliet Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN with Bro. Craig Evans officiating.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the 1st John Fund at Mt. Juliet Church of Christ.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday at Bond Memorial Chapel and 30 minutes prior to service time Sunday at the church.
