Hill, Karen Leann , born June 5, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on the evening of May 8 in her family home. She was the beloved daughter of Harvey and Margaret Lackey of Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
Karen earned an associate's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She was a dedicated wife to Gerald L Hill Sr. for 49 years and a loving mother to her blended family. Her physical and emotional strength had a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Karen's legacy lives on through her children and stepchildren: Michael Hill (wife Brandy, children Dana and Kaden), Matthew Hill (daughter Rachel), Paul Hill (wife Robin, children Alyssa, Amanda, Connor, and Tori), and Gerald Hill Jr (wife Rebecca, children Ashlee [husband Tyler, son Malachi], Jack, and Julia).
A highly accomplished equestrian, Karen's passion for riding and training others in dressage was unmatched. She was known for her remarkable strength, equestrian prowess, and unwavering love for her family.
In honoring Karen's life, a visitation and celebration will be held on Monday, May 13, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Friends and family are invited to honor her memory during this time. In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be sent to Bond Memorial Chapel, where they will be thoughtfully held for the family's consideration.
Karen's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
