Julius Billie (Bill) Marlow of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away peacefully at age 96 on September 11, 2022.
He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey, his stepson, Jimmy Lane, and his grandson, Allen Lane.
He leaves his daughters (and spouses), Karen (Don) Brownfield and Joyce Wells, his daughter-in-law (spouse), Pamela (Jerry) Kirkwood, 5 grandchildren (spouses), Shelley (Mark) Tomich, Steven (Brittany) Gilbert, Jennifer Wells, Curtis Wells, Jonathan (Michelle) Lane, and 9 great-grandchildren, Lucy and Evie and Julie Tomich, Sam and Noah and Jake Gilbert, Steven Neel, Jimmy and Scott Lane.
Bill was born August 30, 1926 in Jackson, TN. He served in WWII in the Navy (1944-1946) as Radioman Third Class. He then graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Accounting. He settled in Nashville and worked at Alloway Brothers, then was an IRS agent retiring as Team Coordinator Large Corporate Audit.
After his retirement, he and his wife Audrey moved to Lewisburg, TN, where he was active in the Lions Club. His final years were spent in Mt. Juliet, TN where he enjoyed visits from his family.
His ashes and Audrey’s ashes will be spread by his family at a private ceremony.
