Joseph Deloy Rodgers

Rodgers, Joseph Deloy , age 88, of Hermitage, TN died February 18, 2023. Joe was born in Old Hickory, TN and was the son of the late, Dornal Lee Rodgers and Annie Pearl Uselton Rodgers. He served in the Air National Guard and was a metal fabricator, retiring from AVCO. Joe loved cars, woodworking, camping, being outdoors and his dog, Ollie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Ellis Rodgers; daughter, Sharon Hamm and 5 siblings.

He is survived by:

Wife of 39 years – Sandra Rodgers

Children – Joel (Dean) Rodgers and Lisa (Phillip) Raines

Bonus children – Lisa (David) Stafford, Tambralyn (David) Lantz, Kenny Lively,

Scott (Holly) Lively and Jackie McCain

Sister – Dean Read

Grandchildren – Jonathan Rodgers, Jennifer Chunn, Chris Raines, Brian Raines and

many bonus grandchildren

Many great-grandchildren and bonus great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Rodgers, Chris Raines, Brian Raines, Dylan Robinson, Blake Robinson and Kellen Lively. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan, Canaan, Aaron, Cade, Carter, Alex, Micah and Caleb.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
