Jerry Arnold Thompson

Thompson, Jerry Arnold , age 79, of Mt. Juliet, TN died October 12, 2022. Jerry was born in Dalton, GA and was the son of the late, Alford Lee Thompson and Mary Ellen German Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Faye Thompson and sister, Lola (Opie) Graham. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and enjoyed working on cars, spending time at the ocean and fishing.

He is survived by:

Children – Marian Thompson, Jerry A. (Carin Nicholas) Thompson, Jeremy Thompson

and Alicia (John) Muir

Brother – Jimmy (Jane) Thompson

Grandchildren – Savanna, Brandon, Dayton, Alissa, Bristol, Eli, Skylar, Bella, Dallas,

Shyla and Krimsyn

Great-grandchildren – Carter and T.J.

Niece and nephew – Jimmy (Becky) Thompson and Brenda (Jeff) McCowen

Graveside services with military honors will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Tennessee Georgia Memoria Park, 724 Hogan Road, Rossville, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
