Jeffery Shawn Rogers, affectionately known by a few names—“Coach,” “Jeffy,” and “Pops”—was born on April 21, 1969, in Summerville, Georgia. Jeff went to be with his Father in Heaven on June 21, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jeff was a loving husband, father, and Pops whose devotion to his family was evident in everything he did. A man of strong faith, he shared God’s Word and spread joy by passing out “Little Jesus” figurines. He found his greatest fulfillment in spending time with his family. Jeff was also a homebody who cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife, Lisa.
Jeff enjoyed coaching softball, playing golf, and anything that fueled his love for speed, particularly motorcycles and his Cadillac CTS-V.
Professionally, he served as Manager of Field Construction for Tri Star Services, LLC, while also leading his own company, Saving the Crisis (STC). He was respected for his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to help others. Jeff lived each day guided by two core values: “How may I serve others?” and “We leave things better than we found them.” These principles shaped the way he worked, cared for those around him, and approached life. His servant's heart, generosity, faith and commitment to making a positive difference left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Rusty and Mary Wimpy; his grandmother, Annie Mae Griffin; and his best friend, Ethan Siegel.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Lisa Rogers; his brothers, Arthur “Lonnie” Rogers (Amanda) and William “Billy Joe” Wimpy; and his sisters, Misty Helton (Shane), Brandy Wimpy, and Jessie Galassi (Tom).
He is also survived by his children: Camden Rogers (Delainie), Haylee Rogers (Blake), Hunter Leemon (mother to children, Sharon Kent Kelley), Annabelle Rogers (mother to child, Ashlyn Fite), Brittany Campbell (Bobby), Miranda Jakes (Devon), Summer Burch (Tori), and Chelsi Grantham (Kyle).
Jeff’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Annica, Harper, Piper, Ava, Trevor, Charlie, Brayden, Karter, Raegan, Dakota, Will, Kylee, Lauren, Ella-Grace, Renee, Adelyn, Karsyn, and Savannah.
He is also survived by his dear friends Ron Stanley and Buddy Cates, fellow brothers of the Men of God Group, as well as many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
In addition, Jeff adored his “Paris Hilton” puppy dog, affectionately known as “Baby Boy.”
Jeff will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His faith, love, and generosity will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. We find comfort in knowing he is now in Heaven, doing “JEFF THINGS.”
A Celebration of Life visitation for Jeff will be held at Bond Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The family welcomes all who wish to participate in a time of prayer beginning at 11:30 a.m., to include sharing of memories and reflections, as we honor Jeff's life.
