Jason Wayne McKenzie, age 48, born on September 9, 1978, in Nashville, TN, passed away on April 16, 2026. Born to Lydia McDonald and Morris McKenzie, Jason had a vibrant spirit that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jason was a vibrant individual, known for his energy and outspoken personality. He had an infectious sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. A true sports enthusiast and a passionate music lover, Jason found immense joy in playing the drums. He walked to the beat of his own drum in every aspect of life. Professionally, he worked at C.O. Christian and Son Electric Company for many years. Jason's love for life, his outgoing nature, and his ability to light up a room will be deeply missed.

He touched the lives of many, and his legacy of laughter will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A funeral service for Jason will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel and will be officiated by Sandra Clay. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the service to follow. A graveside service will take place at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
