Janice Elaine Copley

Copley, Janice Elaine , age 82, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died August 13, 2024. Janice was born in Lebanon, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late, Macon Ewing Castleman and Katherine Elizabeth Castleman. She was a 1959 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School.

She was a proud Air Force wife for over 20 years and a longtime member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. She was a caregiver by heart and always lived by the “Golden Rule.” She loved her family, especially her grandkids and she will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Billie James Copley, a brother, Richard Castleman and his wife Wynelle, and a sister, Evalena Bennett and her husband Grady.

She is survived by:

Children – Dwayne (Nichole) Copley, Leanne Copley Lewis, and Andrew Copley

Sister – Bettye (Allen) Mason

Brothers – Ron (Diane) Castleman

Grandchildren – Campbell Lewis, Alex Copley, and Rowan Copley

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday August 19, 2024, at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Bro. John Thomas officiating and interment will follow.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
