Ila Nadine Green

Green, Ila Nadine , age 92, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on September 2, 2024.   Nadine was born February 10, 1932, to the late Avard and Bertha McCormick in Lebanon, Missouri. Nadine was an active member of Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene for 50 years. Over 35 of those years she taught a countless number of two year olds in Sunday School. She was a valued employee of the University of Tennessee at Nashville and later Tennessee State University where students and faculty alike would specifically request her to assist them. Nadine loved to cook for her family. Potato salad, fried chicken and homemade noodles were favorites. Tho it has been attempted, no one has been able to make potato salad quite like she did. She was a humble, kind woman and she will be greatly missed.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Howard McCormick and James McCormick and a sister, Nettie Bocock.

She is survived by:

Children – Chuck (Fonda) Green, Vicki (Eddie) White, and Scott (Dawn) Green

Grandchildren – Aaron Green, Adam Green, Hannah Green, Taylor White, Emily Green, Jarrett Green, and Kelsey Green.

Great Grandchildren – Charlie Green, Norah Green, Piper Green, and Rowland White.

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Berkner officiating.
