Herman Leslie Ramey

Ramey, Herman Leslie , age 75, of Old Hickory, TN, died January 10, 2019.

Mr. Ramey was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ and a volunteer for the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund. He was retired from Roadway Express. Mr. Ramey was the son of the late, Woody and Thelma Ramey. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Ramey and sister, Emogene Ward.

He is survived by:

Wife of 54 years – Palestine Ramey

Son – Stephen (Michelle) Ramey

Daughter – Cindy (Chuck) Searcy

Grandchildren – Lauren Ramey, McKenzie Searcy and Andrew Ramey

Sister-in-law – Nancy Ramey

Niece and nephew – Lori Romine and Greg Ramey

Special great-niece – Manda Jackson

And Palistine’s nieces and nephew, whom he love like his own

Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wayne Miller officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Harold Young, Charles Pendygraft, Roger Hunley, Andrew Ramey, Charley Dunn and Ronnie Mullinax. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Cravens, Steve Boshers, bob Sanford, and Greg Ramey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211.
