Herbert Marshall Goodrich

Goodrich, Herbert Marshall , age 94, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died June 30, 2024.  Herbert was born on November 9, 1929, in Wakefield, Virginia and was the son of the late John and Mabel Goodrich. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, 6 sisters, and 4 stepsiblings. Herbert was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he served as a deacon for many years at First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, square dancing with friends, and farming and gardening.

He is survived by:

Wife of 70 years – Yvonne Goodrich

Daughter – Becky Trainer

Son- Barry Goodrich

Grandchildren – Traci Goodrich, Stacey Gary, and Derek (Bethany) Trainer

Great-grandchildren – Kristina and Austin Gary and Krew and Kymber Trainer

Brothers – Ronnie Goodrich and Tom Butler

Sister – Mabel Johnson

A Host of nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Billie Friel officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.  and from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bond Memorial Chapel.
