Brooks, Jr., Hardie McKinley , age 81, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died June 26, 2019. Mr. Brooks was a member of Cornerstone Church in Nashville and attended Bill and Patricia Wolfenbarger’s Bible Study Class at Courtney’s in Mt. Juliet. He was a Christian man and witnessed to everyone he met. Mr. Brooks was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and worked as a Civil Engineer for the State of Tennessee for 55 years. Mr. Brooks was an avid Vanderbilt fan and was a longtime member of the Commodore Club. He was the son of the late, Hardie McKinley Brooks, Sr. and Cornelia Williams Brooks. He was also preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Skylar Aguillard.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Deeanna Walls officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be David Lewis, Scott Stepp, Robert LeFevre, Blake Rogers, Joe Baltz and Eric Larios. Honorary pallbearers will be Trevor Rogers, Teddy Aguillard, Kevin Aguillard and Nick Patterson.
