Guilford John Strong

Strong, Sr., Guilford John , age 89, died June 30, 2019. Mr. Strong was born November 3, 1929 in Knoxboro, N.Y. He was the son of the late Herbert and Adelaide Van Evra Strong. Mr. Strong was a graduate of Madison High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was retired from Eastern Rock after 36 years. Mr. Strong was a lifelong member of the Kelly-Phillips American Legion, Post 569. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Gilbert, Charles, Keith, Carlton, Teddy, Doug, Gary, Dickey, LaVern and Phyllis.

14 Grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren

In keeping with Mr. Strong’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in New York at a later date.
